Canada’s First Master Planned Sustainable Equine Community

Tri City Properties is proud to be the first developer to respond to the demand for low density eco-friendly communities that incorporate equestrians lifestyle with sustainable building and development practices. The proposed community will address land conservancy by applying innovative sustainability principles and new green technologies to land use.

Paradise Trails Guiding Principles & Integrated Sustainable Design Practices

  • Paradise Trails will be designed to evoke a “Sense of Place”
  • The community plan will be tailored to suit the natural landscape, topography and geo-technical conditions of the property.
  • The planning, engineering, construction and operation will maintain, restore and enhance the proper ecological function of the area.
  • The development process will include a Proper Functioning Condition (PFC) Assessment of the Cheakamus River.
  • The Paradise Trails development team will work to restore and replant land damaged due to logging and prior disruption of the site for a previously planned golf course.
  • The plan includes an assessment of the area which will be conducted to guide engineering strategies and design features.
  • The Trail System and Recreation Resources at Paradise Trails will be a design priority.
  • Heritage and Landscape Resources such as watercourses and riparian area setbacks will be preserved and enhanced.
